Downtown Jasper, Alabama, is a historic commercial district where local businesses, dining, public spaces, events, and community life come together. Originally established as a railroad town and a center of commerce serving the area's coal mines and farms, Jasper has continued to evolve as a destination for shopping, dining, public art, recreation, and community events. Today, Downtown Jasper features local businesses, historic sites, public art experiences, and attractions such as the Sculpture Trail, while events like the annual Foothills Festival bring thousands of visitors into the district.
With a diverse mix of businesses, attractions, trails, public art, events, and points of interest, Jasper Main Street needed a way to make the many experiences available throughout Downtown Jasper easier for visitors to discover and navigate.
