In 2019, Visit Norfolk has seen an increase in the number of visitors. The management planned for a renovation to give their new and existing visitors a touch of what Norfolk’s culture is about, and what they can offer throughout their stay. The remodeling would include mural paintings, statues, and the opening of other amenities. To ensure consistent digital experiences they wanted a partner that could provide digital signage and interactive experiences in the future. The key objectives would include:


Since their center is still the heart of where most tourists go to get help and recommendation, they decided to place a 4 screen Video Wall at center of the experience to drive engagement and information. TrueOmni provided a 55’ Samsung Digital Displays in a 2×2 configuration to fit the wall perfectly.

As well providing cloud-based access to easily change experiences and full integration with their CRM for auto updates. All hardware was sized, selected, installed and supported by Omni’s team to ensure the visitor center vision came to life. Here are some of the functionalities deployed:
