Visit Sebring turned limited visitor center hours into a 24/7 destination network.
Known for its picturesque lakes, championship golf courses, motorsports heritage and authentic Old Florida charm, Visit Sebring partnered with TrueOmni to deploy an outdoor digital visitor experience network across Highlands County, Florida.
Visit Sebring wanted to create more opportunities for visitors to discover local attractions, events, dining, outdoor recreation and unique experiences throughout Highlands County. With visitors arriving at various times and locations across the destination, traditional visitor information methods limited access to timely recommendations and trip-planning resources.
The organization needed a solution that could extend visitor services beyond the visitor center, provide engaging self-service experiences, and encourage travelers to explore more of the destination while creating memorable moments they could share with friends and family.
TrueOmni deployed a network of three 49″ outdoor interactive visitor kiosks in Sebring, Avon Park and Lake Placid, each giving travelers 24/7 access to destination information, maps and local recommendations:
The deployment expanded Visit Sebring’s ability to serve visitors throughout the destination while providing convenient access to information whenever travelers needed it. The combination of outdoor kiosks, interactive maps, itinerary planning and photo booth experiences helps visitors discover more local attractions, stay engaged longer and connect with the community in meaningful ways. The solution also provides valuable insights into visitor interests and engagement patterns, helping Visit Sebring better understand traveler behavior and continuously improve the visitor experience.
Today, Visit Sebring offers a modern, self-service visitor engagement network that supports local tourism partners, promotes destination discovery and enhances the overall visitor journey from arrival to departure.
