Mason County brought its visitor experience together in one mobile app.
The Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce partnered with TrueOmni to launch a Mason County visitor app that connects travelers with trails, events, dining and local businesses across the region.
Located between the waters of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains, Mason County, Washington offers visitors a diverse mix of outdoor recreation, waterfront experiences, hiking trails, local dining, events, and small communities to explore. The Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce supports tourism and economic development throughout the region, connecting travelers with local businesses, attractions, recreation opportunities, and visitor resources.
With experiences spread across Shelton, Hoodsport, Hood Canal, and the surrounding communities, the Chamber sought to make destination information easier to access and more useful for travelers throughout their visit.
Mason County offers an extensive range of experiences, from hiking and paddling to waterfalls, parks, dining, events, shopping, and waterfront recreation. With so many activities and points of interest distributed throughout the county, visitors needed an easier way to discover experiences, navigate the region, and plan their time based on their individual interests.
The Chamber also needed a solution that could keep destination information and events current while extending its visitor services to travelers using their mobile devices.
