Sedona turned its visitor experience into a connected, self-service network.
Visit Sedona partnered with TrueOmni to deploy an outdoor interactive visitor engagement network complemented by a Progressive Web App, on-site and on every traveler’s phone.
Visit Sedona wanted to improve how visitors discover and experience the destination by providing convenient, self-service access to maps, trail information, transportation options, and local attractions, while reducing reliance on printed materials and traditional visitor services.
The goal: a connected visitor experience that encourages longer stays, promotes local tourism partners, simplifies access to outdoor recreation, and remains accessible to all visitors through ADA-compliant technology.
A 49″ outdoor kiosk, two dual-sided 49″ outdoor kiosks, and a Progressive Web App that extends the experience beyond physical touchpoints:
The deployment transformed how Visit Sedona engages visitors by providing multiple outdoor digital touchpoints and a connected mobile experience that supports travelers throughout their visit. Its success led Visit Sedona to expand the project with an additional dual-sided outdoor kiosk featuring ADA-compliant accessibility.
Today, Visit Sedona’s interactive visitor engagement ecosystem helps travelers navigate the destination more confidently, discover more experiences, and stay connected throughout their journey, strengthening visitor satisfaction while providing a modern, accessible gateway to one of America’s most iconic destinations.
